1. Collegiate Pseudonym Architecture: REC Connect is engineered to preserve student privacy. Your institutional name and email address are protected and replaced with your collegiate pseudonym across public campus feeds, channels, and messages.

2. Institutional Domain Whitelisting: Only verified student accounts with institutional emails ending with @rajalakshmi.edu.in are permitted.

3. Geolocation & Radar Signals: Landmark presence beacons (e.g. REC Cafe, Library) are coarse approximations intended for peer matchmaking and are never linked to real names.

4. Moderation & Disciplinary Protection: In instances of harassment, students have direct access to blocking and administrator reporting tools.
